Terms of Service

Effective date: 22 June 2026 · Operator: Dr. Mehak Gupta's Dental Studio, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, India

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Dr. Mehak Gupta's Dental Studio website, online appointment booking, intake and contact forms, and WhatsApp messaging services (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. If you are booking on behalf of another person (for example, a child or family member), you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Our services

Dr. Mehak Gupta's Dental Studio provides dental and oral healthcare at our physical clinic in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The website and WhatsApp bot help you:

• View clinic information, services, and contact details;
• Book, reschedule, or cancel appointments where available;
• Submit intake or contact enquiries;
• Receive appointment confirmations, reminders, and operational messages you have agreed to.

Information on the website is for general purposes and does not replace a clinical examination or personalised medical advice. Treatment plans, diagnoses, and fees are confirmed only after consultation with our dentist.

3. Appointments and booking

• Availability — Appointment slots shown online or on WhatsApp reflect real-time availability but are not guaranteed until confirmed by the clinic. We may contact you if a slot becomes unavailable.
• Accurate details — You must provide a valid name and phone number. Bookings may be linked to your registered account on the website where login is required.
• Consultation fee — A consultation fee may apply as stated on our website or at the clinic (currently ₹500 unless otherwise communicated).
• Rescheduling and cancellation — You may reschedule or cancel through the website, WhatsApp menu, or by calling the clinic. Please give reasonable notice so we can offer the slot to other patients.
• No-shows and late arrival — Repeated no-shows or very late arrival may result in rescheduling restrictions or cancellation of future bookings at our discretion.
• Clinic hours — We are open Monday–Saturday during published hours. Sundays and blocked dates are not available for booking.

4. WhatsApp

When you message our clinic on WhatsApp, you also agree to WhatsApp’s terms and acknowledge that Meta processes messaging data according to their policies (see our Privacy Policy).

• WhatsApp is used for operational communication (booking, reminders, clinic location, feedback requests), not for emergency care.
• Menu options and automated replies are provided for convenience; complex clinical questions should be discussed in person or by phone.
• Do not use WhatsApp for urgent medical emergencies. In an emergency, call local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital.

5. Accounts and acceptable use

Where the website requires login, you are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity under your account. You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the website or booking system;
• Submit false appointment bookings or impersonate others;
• Upload harmful code or content through forms or messages.

We may suspend or refuse access to the Services if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

6. Health information disclaimer

Always seek professional evaluation before starting or changing treatment. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in India:

• The website and WhatsApp tools are provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation;
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services, including lost appointments due to technical issues, though we will use reasonable efforts to maintain reliable systems;
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Clinical care is provided under separate professional standards and applicable healthcare regulations at the clinic.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dr. Mehak Gupta's Dental Studio and its staff from claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services or breach of these Terms, except where caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be noted on the website. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
